Italian supercar manufacturer, Ferrari presents a new model to explore the era of electric cars through the Ferrari Roma sports coupe plug-in hybrid. Ferrari Roma will become a competitor to the Porsche 911 and have the opportunity to attract new consumers, those who want to try out the sports coupe capabilities but use environmentally friendly hybrid engines. Ferrari’s Commercial Director Enrico Galleria said that Rome was designed ”for people who want to drive a sports car, or a Ferrari, but they are afraid of Ferrari and sports cars.”
This is because the rear wing found on the Ferrari 599XX can be driven automatically because it has been equipped with control features such as SCM, ABS, ESP and F1 Trac. The rear diffuser is equipped with a touch of engine power which reaches 750 CV at 9,000 rpm and is capable of producing maximum torque of up to 700 Nm.
